Vote Like You Never Voted Before!

When John F. Kennedy was running for President, he campaigned in the parking lot of Lit Brothers, in Willow Grove, PA. I was fifteen. And I was there. I have never forgotten the experience of that day. I certainly wasn’t old enough to vote, but I was old enough to feel the passion of caring about this country. My country.

I sense that same passion now as this feeling of change and hope is sweeping the country and landing right smack dab in Pennsylvania. Both candidates bring a promise of relief to many and they will be working hard in the oncoming weeks to win our hearts, as well as our votes. To quote the late Johnny Carson, “This is good stuff!”

Don’t miss the chance to tell your grandchildren that you voted in one of the most important presidential primaries ever hosted by Pennsylvania. A primary that also just happened to include as candidates a former First Lady and an African American – neither choice fathomable not all that many years ago. Of course they will look at you like you have three heads because they will never have lived in a time when that was news. And that’s a good thing!
